L.A Girl Gel Liner Review:Dark Brown

I decided to post a blog about this product because i read a lot of good reviews from youtube makeup guru's and beauty bloggers/vloggers.

So,i don't have any second thoughts to look for it.I bought this at SM Megamall L.A Girls counter and it costs me 200 plus.Basically affordable for a gel liner.






The product claims,it doesn't smudge or budge?Well,i hope it was because it's something that i look forward to a gel liner everytime i purchase a new cosmetic to try.




I prefer dark brown when it comes to a liner.I don't know but it gives me not very harsh look especially on a daily basis.I can tell,it's very pigmented!





As you can see at the photo,it comes with a brush!(with cover)to protect the bristles.Well,this tiny brush really works!I'm so impressed.It's very convenient to use!

I perfectly made a winged liner look.It has a sleek packaging,a small glass jar(it looks elegant).The gel liner truly glides smoothly because of it's perfect texture.

For those who are not good in lining their eyes using a gel liner,The L.A Girl's box has an instructions.



How to apply the gel liner?Dip the ultra fine eyeliner brush into gel formula coating both sides of brush tip.Wipe off excess on tissue before applying to eye.

Line lash line with gel working quickly as product comes transfer resistant once dry.About the ingredients,you don't have to worry because it doesn't have any paraben.

For those who don't know,paraben was harmful which can interfere in our hormones and could lead to cancer.

Once the product was dry,it won't smudge.I tested it after a few hours of sweating and a lots of errands,i just noticed the liner was not pigmented as it was before i applied and it smudge a little!

At the end of the day,i washed my face and the good thing was it doesn't run down but when i rub my eyes?Such a shame!It starts to smear.

I have to admit that i'm a little disappointed because i expect a lot about this product and it doesn't work for me.Don't get me wrong,just try it and let's see if everything works!

Hence,try not to rub your delicate eyes too much,to avoid panda eyes.One more tip ladies,you can also set it with an eyeshadow to last longer by patting motion over the gel liner(tap off the excess)

My Favorite Moisturizers:Healthy Glow

There are many skincare products out there and we just have to be wise in choosing the right one.Some people skip moisturizing in their skincare routine and i admit,i'm one of them.

I could consider myself having a good skin for not having a lots of pimples.My skin break out but very seldom.

Suddenly,i just noticed my skin wasn't that soft and flawless at all,no doubt because i didn't even use any beauty products.I also have dry skin.

That's the moment i started to ensure my skin well-hydrated.Skin type ain't the issue!normal,combination or oily you still need to moisturize to improve your skin.

It's also the best way to control oily skin and lessen impurities!Let me introduce my first favorite when it comes to moisturizer!

Celeteque DermoScience Hydration Facial Moisturizer with Triple Moisturizing System
50ml




Based on the packaging it was dermatologist tested,water-based,oily-free,non-comedogenic,hypo-allergenic and fragrance -free.

This is not the first moisturizer i've tried but i was really amazed!I applied it twice a day,before i apply my make up(it doesn't interfere with my make up) and before going to bed.



It was just a clear water and no pungent smell.It's not sticky and easily absorbed by the skin!It's absolutely my regimen to have a healthy glow skin!

This tube of Celeteque Moisturizer lasts me for about 3 to 4 months and i will definitely repurchased it!By the way,i also tried their Celeteque Facial Wash and it really does hydrate your skin but there's no brightening effect.


Nivea Creme 30ml







Everytime i passed by the SM department store,i always ignore this products.Honestly,i'm into nivea brand so i bought it and tried.

It's surprisingly very creamy/thick texture,very perceptible!Precisely perfect in any dry areas such as elbows,knees and hands.

I always use this on my hard skin developed under my feet cause by wearing shoes/high heels for a long hours(nursing duties)

I'm certainly not using it again as a daily moisturizer on my face because it's extremely greasy but it makes my skin soft and smooth.

It has a fantastic smell and i really love it!Lastly,the best thing about the product was it's classic!it's proven over the years!

This is really a must-have for easing your stubborn dry skin!Give it a try!

Eye Makeup:Inspiration from Kpop

KPOP inspired!

I was really hooked in this kind of eye makeup,but i haven't had a time to blog about it.I've always used this look whenever i have some errands.

This time,i decided to use light to dark shades


Bronze from Essence Cosmetics
Black and Grey from Ever Bilena 12 shades

In2it BB Make-up Cream 5in1 and In2it Oil Control Two-way Powder Foundation

For starters,apply a primer to have a smooth and velvety look and to make your foundation last longer.
I applied my foundation routine,my in2it cosmetics.

Use a primer all over the lids to make your eyeshadow last.Apply bronze shade(from essence cosmetics)all over the eyelids.

Matte black eyeshadow on the outer corner of your lids to emphasize the crease of your eyes.Grey eyeshadow on the inner corners,use the shimmery shade to brighten up/pop op your eyes.

Don't forget to fill in your brows,use any eyebrow pencil appropriate to the shade of your hair.A thicker brows,make you more youthful/younger.Like kpop stars,try to notice their straight brows!

Let's proceed to the eyeliner!I used my in2it waterproof eyeliner in black.Apply a thin liner,sweeping from your inner eye to outwards stroke.

If you want to create a very thick liner,you can build up more by adding another line.In this look,i extend my liner a little bit to make my eyes look like a trademark kpop.

Always use black eyeliner for more bolder look.You can use your angled brush for your gel liners to have a precise winged liner and don't forget to tightline your eyes to make your lashes fuller/thicker.

Curl your lashes and apply your favorite mascara!Lastly,my white eyeliner from a cheaper brand(fashion21).I applied it on my waterline for my eyes to appear larger.

Everyone wants to get physically fit and we are aware of this!It's necessary to have a healthy life followed by a healthy diet.

Do you see yourself eating low-fat,high-fiber diet,drinking a lots of fluids and go to the gym two to four times a week is all you can do to get fit and to have a healthy body?but you should ask yourself if you do know about the misconceptions or myths in exercises.

Lets tackle about the facts in these common myths to get fit!

It's not true that when you're old it's not necessarily you have to work out!
We can exercise at any age,even some people are too old to work out they can benefit from that exercise like walking.If ever you've never exercised before,indeed you need a personal trainer to get started.If you have a serious health condition such as CVA or heart disease and diabetes etc,check with your doctor before starting any exercise,don't forget the personal trainer should be qualified trainer or should have experience in training people who are at your same age and condition so he/she should know what's your level of fitness.


It's not true that a little exercise doesn't count!
Any exercises or activity is better than nothing lads!10-minute exercise is enough to get your heart rate up and at the same time increase the circulation and you also feel more alive/alert!I also read an article about this.Walking around your village or office building can improve and strengthen your health.


No pain,No gain!Definitely No.
If you felt anything like burning sensation in your muscles or more than that,it means you're injuring yourself folks!If you're exercising,no need to push yourself to the point hurting your muscles so hard,that there's pain!Just be pretty sure to check your laps,distance and time when you're tracking your progress by exercise.You need to do stretching first before doing any activity,some people forget about this.You have to do this to reduce the risk/prevent any injury and to build up flexibility.

It's not true that running is the best way to be in shape!
Any activity or work out routine were the best way,even riding a bike or cycling will be great!Better,if you're playing sports like badminton,swimming or tennis.For moms,try to go outdoors and play with your lovely kids and a 10-15 minute walk with them.You can enjoy while burning your calories that you consumed in every way.

It's really important to drink a lots of fluid without any caffein!
Drink when working out especially when sweating we need to replace those fluids that we are losing,also to prevent dehydration.

It's not true that diet alone can be a great way to lose weight!
Oh come on,get moving!moving your body everyday or just walking can burn your calories.If you find working out is a boring stuff,try to find an activity or a sport to stick with.If you're good in dancing like me,pop it!it would unwind you.For those people who dont know,dancing can benefits our brain!well it does,one of my mentor discussed that to me back then,when i was a nursing student.It increased the blood flow of our muscles in brain,because in dancing we are thinking whats the next step and memorizing as well.It will help us to relieve stress and any depressions!

In2it BB Make-Up Cream 5 in 1 Review

As the product claims,this make-up bb cream is 5 in 1.It's a foundation as the same time it can be a make-up base,concealer,it has spf 30 PA +++ a sun protection and moisturiser.



This is the first bb cream i've tried!I'm in a shade of 02 sienna 20 ml.I just use my finger or a brush when applying it over my entire face,it blends easily on my skin although it has a thick consistency.That's a good thing folks!

We all know that In2it is one of the popular cosmetics and bb creams as daily use of some ladies out there.I've tried a lot of in2it products like their foundation,bb creams,eyeliners and i'm planning to purchase some of their eyeshadows!

They also have affordable products like their waterproof eyeliners and mascara.


Let's tackle about the pro's.They had a very awesome girly packaging!this sweet color pink was so adorable!It really caught my sight.

The small tube was great because you'll be able to control how many will you have to disperse.It was very travel friendly,i don't need to worry about the product leakage.It doesn't have any pungent smell,actually it smells pretty good!


You really don't need to put nor use a lot of products over your entire face because this bb cream is 5 in 1,so i don't use any moisturiser even your spf face cream.A good choice if you're looking for a bb cream!

Sometimes,i prime my face first before applying it and it doubles the flawless look on my face.


Lets talk about the down side or the con's about the product!As i've said the packaging was so cute but it fades,it happens all the time like their 2-way powder foundation and bb make-up creams.

The worst,they only have two shades.It was very disappointing!Im in a shade of 02 sienna and i noticed it has a white cast in photos!I saw some of my pictures in a birthday party,it was really bad!

Not good as a concealer.I have a dark circles under my eyes and this bb make-up cream it doesn't completely cover it.It doesn't last for a very long hours that's why i'm using a primer from elf (ellf mineral infused face primer)when i have errands.

Lastly,don't forget to set it with powder you still need that to this kind of bb cream to last longer.

Probation in Marriage

For Better or for Worse


The sweetest part of being a couple is to get married!
But how can you outrun the rough patches,fears,temptations and doubts in marriage?


A Wedding Day was filled with happiness and we are expecting a better life with our partner.You'll make plans for the good future even dream together and see yourselves growing old with your children.

I got married in 2010 and as the other spouse it's natural to had a misunderstanding with our partner.there's no marriage which is conflict-free!

Life isn't perfect and full of probation but let me tell you this,just enjoy being together and grab some time to eat outside or watch movie with no pressure.

If you didn't notice,other people often carry their problems from one relationship to another which can really cause a problem.I read this article from the author of "Fighting for your Marriage"


It's time to build a better relationship in your marriage!

You need to learn how to "Listen"
Let your spouse speak up his/her concerns,opinions even resentments.It was really important so we can comprehend the situation and his/her statement.

It's not necessarily that you'll agree what he/she has said but at least we listened.Avoid talking while your spouse is speaking.Reflect back in some words he/she uttered then it's time for you to correct some mistakes.



"Stop dragging up some past transgressions"
This is the common problem in a relationship,if it's the past it's better not to talk about it because there's a possibility to say hurtful words again.

We don't usually forget,but we need to forgive,leave it and learn from it.We are able to take that lessons from a certain experience in our lives and ensure that next time we fall,don't repeat or make the same mistakes again.


"Communicate and admit your mistakes"
In every conflict it was really important to communicate openly and to realize your own responsibility in a certain issue.Speak what's on your mind and about your concerns.Let it out!

Some people were not comfortable in speaking openly and at the same time to admit his/her mistakes.If you don't communicate,sometimes it creates hostility but don't ever pin anyone or anything to other people

Realize your mistakes,discuss,fix it and don't do it again.
You just need to make things right,it's not the end to correct your flaws and shortcomings.


"Chances"
We want to live stress-free and we don't want to get into the same trouble again that's why some relationships or their marriage often put on the back burner.

Some spouse take everything for granted,right?they think that they can always make up for what they did.It really cause a problem!but that's fact.

We just need to fix everything and chances were still there.All of us commit mistakes but it depends to the situation.Like,if there has been such infidelity issue!that's painful.

Precisely,expect the wounds won't heal but some couple work hard to regain the trust in their relationship and for the sake of their children.

Start to go back where you were before to build up the fun,positive memories and ensure the painful past won't happen again.

As what they've said rough patches can make a relationship better even though it's hard and it took about a year to regain the trust.


Always value your family but still give time for yourself,respect yourself!

Those probation will also test your love and trust to God,to give you strength and to decide what's the right thing to do.

Keep your heads up and face each trails,be prepared to endure what life can possibly throws at us!

Affordable Makeup Products For Keeps!

I'am fully aware that i meticulously scouted the mall for the best product,trying to find alternatives to my high-end cosmetics.When i started using make-up,some of it was very affordable.I tried a lot of local cosmetics.
It's true that if the product was cheap,it's not that good,but you just need to find that great product!just check it out before you buy.


Lets me show you some of my affordable cosmetics that i've repurchased which i highly recommend for you ladies!



Ever Bilena Studio Finish Stick Foundation




I bought this for an alternative to my high-end concealer(Covergirl and olay simplyageless corrector) and there's no doubt,i liked it!

I used this especially when i have daily errands.It has three shades:Creme,Miel and Beige
When it comes to the packaging,it's travel friendly just a silver stick as you can see.


The good thing about the stick foundation,it perfectly hides my dark circles under my eyes because it's yellow undertone.It's perfect for filipino woman.Don't put too much because it cake up sometimes,just apply and blend it well.This is really a good one for local products users!



Fashion 21 Double Up Mascara




It's a lengthening mascara.I've used this product in my last post.This is one of my holy grail,as in my favorite local mascara!I assure you it wouldn't give you a raccoon eyes!or simply it doesn't smudge which is a good thing.


I definitely love waterproof mascara's because i'm acidic,i easily sweat.It's applicator flawlessly coats and also detangles my lashes,it radically lengthen my lashes as well,seriously.


In this mascara expect that you'll never again waste your time or spend late-nights just trying to remove a stubborn mascara because it comes off easily with just a warm water.



The two pencils i'll recommend:For eyes and brows

Fashion 21 Eyeliner In White & Nichido Minerals Precise Eye Pencil




Here's a swatched on my hand of the fashion 21 white eyeliner




This eyeliner was very pigmented.I always use this very often in my waterline and it definitely makes my eyes brighter.It glides smoothly,no shimmer which i love because it's good for a matte natural look.

As you can see it has a smudger on the other side of the pencil.Considering the price,it's inexpensive but it's such a good product to use.



Here's the swatched of nichido minerals precise eye pencil



When i saw this at the nichido counter i didn't hesitate to buy it.I personally prefer light brown pencils.I'm loving the shade,it's perfect!

The texture of this eyeliner was too soft.It glides on easily to my brows.Even though it didn't stay that long i still love it.Nevertheless,that's the only con of this product.



Maybelline New York Baby Lips



Baby lips smoothing cherry


The packaging was so cute!It really caught my eyes.It's available in different flavors like quenched,grape vine,pink punch,peach kiss and cherry me.It's fun to collect if you're a fond of lip balms!It really moisturize my lips,it hydrates well.



Now you have some idea what affordable cosmetics you're gonna get when you're on a tight budget.
