A Simple Everyday Make-Up Yet Stunning

In daytime we don't need to put a lot of make-up,not to harsh and just bright colors.Especially, for students or teens out there. This make-up look and the products i used were perfect for a long day at school and office.
Simple everyday look yet elegant! So,let's begin!

PRODUCTS I USED

FOR FACE

-Covergirl and Olay Simplyageless corrector

-Elf Two-Way Cake Foundation Spf15

-Covergirl Tru blend Microminerals Blush in natural rose

FOR EYES

-IN2IT Waterproof Eyeliner in black

-Essence Single Eyeshadow in bronze

-Fashion21 Double Up Mascara

FOR BROW

-Elf Eyebrow Kit

FOR LIPS

-Maybelline New York Watershine Pure in nude

The first thing you need to do is to prime your face,if you want to.In this look i just moisturized my face then i applied my covergirl and olay simplyageless corrector.Dab the concealer and put that in the triangle under your eyes.
I have been blown away by this product,it's one of my favorite! It really does a good job covering my dark circles under my eyes.Dust fine the elf two-way cake foundation to set the concealer. This foundation has a very fine texture and the good thing is,it has spf 15.

On my daily routine i don't wear eyeshadow, but in this look, apply the essence single eyeshadow in bronze all over your eyelids and blend it well. This good goodie makes my eyes look brighter!Anyway, you can put the concealer to be the base.
Then line your eyes, use a very black eyeliner to define your eyes and a waterproof mascara.

This is the best local mascara for me!it really stayed for a long period of time,it didn't smudge. If you want a review for this, just let me know.

Use the covergirl trublend micromineral blush to have a very natural glow on your cheeks. It create a balance for the entire make-up.So,lets go with the brows!I used elf eyebrow kit,it's very classy and sturdy.
I just fill in my brows but make sure don't go overboard, just square it off.

For more precise brows, use a white eyeshadow or concealer to apply below the brows or the outer arch.

Finally, for the lips from maybelline watershine pure.A very moisturizing and perfect nude color. It's striking!

This look balance off with a shiny nude lip.

My Inspiration in Art: Sketches and 3D Artworks

A 3D Sketch

By my favorite artist:
Nagai Hideyuki

Who said that keeping indoors for longer period leave us in a humdrum mood? Not being able to to run out and enjoy a beautiful weather outside, right?A big "No".There is an indoor activity that will stimulate your brain and enhancing your skills. It's ART.

The art is the word you want to express. It's your happiness, dreams or even hardships and resentments. It's your creativeness and how you play your mind.

I was really hooked in art! It's my hobby that i couldn't resist.Precisely,it's part of my personality.I was planning to study Fine Arts back when i was graduated from high school, but my father told me art makes no stable future. So,he's probably right but i don't want to use this little talent to make me rich,it's the gift of imagination that made me feel so much happier in life!I know i didn't stand a chance because there's a lot of proficient artist out there, but art still part of me.

Sketching is one way for me to speak up or to express my emotions that sometimes i can't verbalize and to give myself a leisure to relax in everyday life, whenever i'm mad nor inspired.A good way for some person like me to release tension.

Let me share some of my sketch with you folks!

I recently made this,i'm planning to place it in my blog.It seems appropriate because it's girly and beauty related.

Start collecting your piece of art,it's great! You might even be able to see your improvement. It might sound ridiculous but i still have my old sketchpad.

Dragon is a kind of creature i like best.Always right at the back of my head when i love to sketch.I know it seems really difficult sometimes to have a good sketch but me,i often draw when i'm in a good mood.
Well, for some people who don't know my display name Lady D stands for lady dragon.

Use your talent, lads!turn it into a good art business. If you want to earn your living by selling your artworks that's great.Enhance it,especially if you're good at it.

Who is your favorite artist?
Who inspired you the most?
If you'll be able to ask me those questions, here it is!
My ultimate favorite favorite,"Nagai Hideyuki".

Nagai Hideyuki is a 3D japanese artist.I'm head over heels inlove with his 3D artworks,it was incredibly wonderful!

Hats down,thumbs up!
It really caught my attention. It's one of my favorite!
He used two sketchpads to made this piece.

It amazed me deeply!
This time,he used three sketchpads.It's so cool,right?

Nagai Hideyuki has a personal site "deviantART".If you're interested, check out his artworks.

See you at my next post!

Revlon Colorstay Review

Do you have oily skin and constantly under the mercy of retouching with your foundation or powder?
Try this!

- Wears up to 24 hours
- lightweight feel, flawless look
- spf 15

This foundation is a must-have,one of my holy grail!I have the shade of nude 200 combination/oily skin.I bought this at SM Megamall Department Store and it cost P825.00

I know it's kinda expensive for some ladies out there who's on a budget, but let me tell you this, the price itself really worth it because a little goes a long way, instead of spending for a cheaper product yet it's just a piece of crap.A waste of money right?but i'll admit,i was kind of skeptical at first until i bought it and tried it.
"I have always been a big fan of any products of Revlon"

Just a little tip, apply a moisturizer first and let it sink into your face for a few minutes then you can apply your foundation using a stippling brush. It's important to prevent skin from drying out.I prefer a water-based formula of moisturizer,it's perfect for daily use even under make-up.

What i love about the product:

-Great Coverage
Sometimes,I don't need to use a concealer anymore because it really does a great job hiding dark circles. It is really matte so i'll recommend this who has oily skin but still set it with powder.

-It's Long Wearing
Perfect for summer!I sweat most of the time but it really stayed on my face yet still looks fresh.

-It's Buildable
If you want a heavy coverage or you want to hide more of your blemishes or dark discoloration of your face just apply a second layer.

-I love the packaging
I know it's not travel friendly. It's heavy container but this glass packaging was classy for me and i love it.

Here is the swatched of the foundation
It has a thick consistency.

As you can see it blends well and matches my skin tone!

What i don't love about the product:

- It dries quickly
When applying the foundation you need to blend it quickly. What ive said it's important to moisturize your face first before applying the revlon colorstay and to prepare your skin to make-up.

-Absence of pump
It 's so messy and you can't control the foundation pouring out,you just need to be cautious.

-Pungent smell
It's tolerable,it doesn't bother me at all.

-The shade
The shade nude 200 is lighter for me.It doesn't match to my skin tone,so i just set it with a yellowish powder and its good to go!As far as i know they only have a few shades of Revlon Colorstay in our country.

Be pretty sure selecting a right shade for you and your skin type as well,if it was dry/normal oily or combination.I prefer a little lighter on my skin tone because of the fact that i'm acidic.Lastly, take off your make up before bedtime!

Hopefully you find my review of Revlon Colorstay to be useful!
