Revlon Colorstay Review

Do you have oily skin and constantly under the mercy of retouching with your foundation or powder?
Try this!

- Wears up to 24 hours
- lightweight feel, flawless look
- spf 15

This foundation is a must-have,one of my holy grail!I have the shade of nude 200 combination/oily skin.I bought this at SM Megamall Department Store and it cost P825.00

I know it's kinda expensive for some ladies out there who's on a budget, but let me tell you this, the price itself really worth it because a little goes a long way, instead of spending for a cheaper product yet it's just a piece of crap.A waste of money right?but i'll admit,i was kind of skeptical at first until i bought it and tried it.
"I have always been a big fan of any products of Revlon"

Just a little tip, apply a moisturizer first and let it sink into your face for a few minutes then you can apply your foundation using a stippling brush. It's important to prevent skin from drying out.I prefer a water-based formula of moisturizer,it's perfect for daily use even under make-up.

What i love about the product:

-Great Coverage
Sometimes,I don't need to use a concealer anymore because it really does a great job hiding dark circles. It is really matte so i'll recommend this who has oily skin but still set it with powder.

-It's Long Wearing
Perfect for summer!I sweat most of the time but it really stayed on my face yet still looks fresh.

-It's Buildable
If you want a heavy coverage or you want to hide more of your blemishes or dark discoloration of your face just apply a second layer.

-I love the packaging
I know it's not travel friendly. It's heavy container but this glass packaging was classy for me and i love it.

Here is the swatched of the foundation
It has a thick consistency.

As you can see it blends well and matches my skin tone!

What i don't love about the product:

- It dries quickly
When applying the foundation you need to blend it quickly. What ive said it's important to moisturize your face first before applying the revlon colorstay and to prepare your skin to make-up.

-Absence of pump
It 's so messy and you can't control the foundation pouring out,you just need to be cautious.

-Pungent smell
It's tolerable,it doesn't bother me at all.

-The shade
The shade nude 200 is lighter for me.It doesn't match to my skin tone,so i just set it with a yellowish powder and its good to go!As far as i know they only have a few shades of Revlon Colorstay in our country.

Be pretty sure selecting a right shade for you and your skin type as well,if it was dry/normal oily or combination.I prefer a little lighter on my skin tone because of the fact that i'm acidic.Lastly, take off your make up before bedtime!

Hopefully you find my review of Revlon Colorstay to be useful!
